With a very heavy heart, tomorrow’s market has officially been canceled.

This is not a decision I ever wanted to make, and honestly, one that has caused me an incredible amount of stress, disappointment, and anxiety today. After learning there would be a private event with approximately 300 guests taking place at the same time as our market, I had to make the difficult choice to cancel because I could not confidently provide the experience our vendors and shoppers deserve.

Between parking limitations, overcrowding, and limited ability for shoppers to comfortably browse, eat, and support the vendors, it simply would not have been fair to the small businesses who invested their time, money, inventory, and trust into this event.

Please know this situation was completely outside of my control, and this decision was not made lightly. I pour my heart into these markets because supporting small businesses means everything to me. The last thing I would ever want is for vendors or shoppers to feel frustrated, overlooked, or set up in an environment where they could not succeed or enjoy themselves.

I do still believe in this venue and what these events can become long term. I truly believe this was an unfortunate scheduling mistake, not intentional, and I appreciate everyone’s understanding while we navigate this situation. Going forward, stronger communication and consistency will absolutely be a priority to ensure this does not happen again.

To my vendors, shoppers, and supporters — thank you for always showing up, supporting local, and continuing to believe in these events and in me. I know this is disappointing, and trust me when I say nobody is more heartbroken over this than I am. 🤍
