Works this past week: Prepared a Strawberry Succulence cake and Key Lime Pleasure cupcakes for a Chef’s birthday (thank you Derrick) and a 2-tier semi-naked cake for my Client’s loved one’s party. The cakes are our 24-Carrot cake with raisins and pecans and the bottom cake is our Almond Vanilla Velvet cake.
What do you do for self-care? This month is National Wellness Month and when I'm not in the kitchen baking, my favorite way to relax is lying in bed resting/recharging, doing absolutely nothing!🛌 (in this picture though I’m walking lol) Prioritizing wellness is so important.👍🏽

Thanks to all those who have served our country! Their dedication is what makes today so great.
Again I count it a blessing when Clients chooses your original work to go by (1st picture shown) and together we create a new version for their event. This wonderful Lady ordered a custom party package from us and yesterday we were able to provide 125 guests with cupcakes, cookies and a huge and at least 18” tall, 3-tier cake for her graduating son and niece yesterday evening! (Descriptions are in the pics). The highlight for me: I’d been working on the cake all week, started working again on it and everything else yesterday at 5am until finished, was very tired and hadn’t eaten anything all day (running off of water only). My Client was so hospitable and welcoming, that while I was there putting finishing touches on the cake, she offered food and drinks from their party! They were Mexican and I tried some Mexican foods and drinks I had never had before! I had tacos and sides from scratch and then tried Agua de Fruitas and rice water- I loved everything! Sometimes deliveries and being at the parties have their perks!😁
