Works this week:
1. I finally had the opportunity to make a letter cake! (I’ve made number cakes before but never a letter cake). We created a Red Royalty (red velvet) cake with the initials “RN” (my Client’s sister graduated from nursing school). It had Mock Cream Cheese frosting, topped with red & white chocolate-dipped strawberries, sliced strawberries, chocolate candies covered in gold foil, candied red roses, and fresh raspberries;
2. An ocean-themed cake for my repeat Client’s daughter’s birthday celebration. The cake is half Chocolate Silk, filled with vanilla pudding, and the top cake layer is Butter Lovers with confetti (sprinkles) inside, and the outside is whipped cream topping. The shelled are made with white chocolate, Nilla wafers for the edible “sand” and the non-edible flowers were bought through Amazon.
They both turned out really nice!🥹 Thank you Father!🙏🏽

Work this past week: a Panda Bear- themed Chocolate Silk Deluxe cake (filled with dark chocolate ganache) and covered in vanilla American buttercream. I give credit to Cake Art for the lovely 2 sugar flowers on the sides of the cake, and the non-edible pandas I found on Amazon; but I made the fondant flowers and petals and piped the black leaves and vines/stems around the cake. Turned out really nice!🐼🥹🥰

Works this past week: it was an honor to get our first order from Canada!🇨🇦
Our Client wasn’t able to make it to their loved one’s funeral, so they had us give a card, and bake assorted cupcakes and assorted cookies for their family’s reception.
We gave them some of our Clients’ favorites: Key Lime Pleasure, Chocolate Silk, Butter Lovers, & Red Royalty cupcakes; and Double Chocolate Smooches and Buttermilk Blossoms cookies. What a blessing. Thank you Heavenly Father.🙌🏽🙏🏽♥️

Haven’t spoken much lately but wanted to share this blessing.
This Client in particular was my last Client for last year and was also my first Client for this year!🙌🏽🥹 The first set of Butter Lovers cupcakes were for a gender reveal party for my Client’s sister, and the other set of cupcakes were for her daughter’s bday celebration that they had today. The pictures aren’t doing the actual cupcakes justice but they turned out so nice. To God be the glory!🙏🏽🙌🏽

Works this past week:
1. Had the pleasure of making my first purse cake for my Client’s wife’s birthday! It was Chocolate Silk cake with seedless raspberry filling, chocolate frosting and chocolate fondant under the edible sugar sheets. Everything was edible except for calla lily stems! Wish I had had more time to work on the fondant/gumpaste handles but otherwise I’m happy with the turn out for it being my first time doing this. They had alot of cake- that’s for sure!
2. Chocolate Silk and Butter Lovers floral-designed cupcakes for a young lady’s graduation party;🌸
3. And a Butter Lovers cake in edible blue shimmer on the vanilla buttercream frosting for a 1year-old’s birthday celebration.🩵

Work this past week: two half sheet cakes for two lovely young ladies that graduated from college yesterday: the first cake was a Red Royalty (red velvet) with vanilla buttercream, and the second was Butter Lovers with lemon buttercream. It was an honor to make these for them.🙏🏽

Whew- works done this past week until today:
1. Key Lime Pleasure cupcakes for my Bro-in-Christ and business colleague, Keith Clark- thank you!🙏🏽🤗
2. One of my repeat Clients bought 3 cakes and 3 sweet potato pies for their family gathering! The cakes were Red Royalty, Chocolate Silk for her daughter and Crunchy Strawberry;
3. Made another sweet potato pie and almond butter cookies with white chocolate chunks for my family for our Thanksgiving feast;
4. Made a Key Lime Pleasure & Red Royalty cake with Mock Cream Cheese frosting for another Client;
5. A Strawberry Succulence cake filled with white chocolate ganache and covered in vanilla buttercream frosting for my Client’s daughter’s Moana- themed bday party; and
6. A Chocolate Silk cake covered in purple & white-marbled fondant and topped and covered with acrylic moons and stars for a repeat Client’s birthday.
A Special thank You to Every Person that bought from us during November and to D’Laya, D’Juan and Heavenly Father for helping me compete every task.🙏🏽♥️
