I have Severe Plaque Psoriasis on 70% of my body. I hate my arms and how much of my body is covered in psoriasis. I hate how much it itches and how anxious it makes me feel. I’m so tried of not posting about it. It affects everything I do.
It’s on my hands and fingers, it makes cleaning and painting difficult. I’m so frustrated.
I’m vegan now because of it and I don’t touch anything with high fructose corn syrup.
I use to have it on over 75% of my body and it was thicker, more restrictive, painful, and itchy before I changed my lifestyle.
I’m now working on my weight and I have lost 11 pounds in the last month with little changes.
I’m not going to let it define me anymore.
People can stare, point, and look disgusted all they want, that doesn’t make me a freak.

Spices are magical! I don’t miss eggs and bacon anymore. To be honest, I love eating like this. Once in a while I miss the ease and availability of everything else but my skin and stomach are constant reminders.
I love that I can eat and nothing dies or was tortured to be on my plate. Slowly changing my diet has been the smartest thing I’ve ever done to help my skin. But it didn’t go away, it’s just not so thick and itchy.
It’s still a struggle to feel well enough to go out or paint.

Happy Anniversary! I had a great time gluing our third token onto our Buffy track. We’ve been together for 3 years now but we’ve been friends for 10.
