Hello friends,

For the past three years since I started making cakes, I’ve kept my personal life separate from my business. But today, I want to share a little more about myself. My name is Valerie, and I am a proud mom to three wonderful children. My eldest, Halle, serves in the Air Force, while Olivia, 14, and Jayson, 9, keep me on my toes at home.

Life threw me a curveball recently when I lost my amazing husband, George, on December 14, 2024. He was my biggest supporter and the love of my life. After his passing, I found myself questioning whether I should continue baking. But I know in my heart that George would want me to keep going, to hold onto my passion and not give up.

George would have turned 42 on January 17, and to honor his memory, I’ve decided to bake some of his favorite treats that day. He had a sweet tooth for brownies, chocolate chip-less cookies, and snickerdoodles, and I’ll have them available for porch pickup. Please take one if you’re in the Dayton area and celebrate him.

Thank you for supporting my journey, and for helping me celebrate the life of a man who meant so much to me and my family.
