I have been MIA awhile, so let me catch you all up!
Sourdough starter is a living thing! Its fed daily and can be put into “hibernation” so to speak, if needed.
We had some family things come up so I put Doughberts (our starter) in the freezer for a few week nap lol
Well hes taking a REALLY long time to fully bounce back to life!
I havent killed him though! Which is so easy to do and Im so lucky hes still (somewhat) active.

So with that being said, im also starting a brand new starter so if Doughberts doesn’t pull through, Im already prepared!

Just in time to make all your fall goodies🍁!!
