Runners laced up at Al Lopez Park for the fourth annual Cupcake Crawl 5K and Cup-One-K Dash. Participants were greeted with cupcakes at the finish line during the annual fundraiser on Saturday. 🔗⬇️

🍪 Happy National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day! 🍪

Did you know the chocolate chip cookie was created completely by accident? In 1938, Ruth Wakefield, owner of the Toll House Inn in Massachusetts, added chopped pieces of Nestlé chocolate to her cookie dough, expecting them to melt. Instead, the chocolate held its shape, and the iconic chocolate chip cookie was born!

Nearly 90 years later, it’s still America’s favorite cookie—and for good reason. Crisp edges, soft centers, and melty chocolate never go out of style. ❤️
