Some cakes hit different. This one brought me immense joy.

My client is a gem and indulges my whims. She asked for a princess cake, naming the specific princesses enjoyed by her granddaughter - then let me do my thing. I believe my exact words to her at pick up were "I got a little carried away." So. Much. Fun.

I'm terrible at social media. Personally, it's a strength. Professionally, a bit of a problem. I hate photographing my work - probably because I stink at it. I hate posting my work - it feels like bragging. Sooo...most of the work I do never makes it here.

But then there's the bride. The bride who says, "Hey! Let me send you some of the photos from our wedding of the desserts you made!" Done. You're the best.

A cutting cake for the bride and groom and a dessert bar for everyone to enjoy was how this party fit tons of flavors into one dessert plan.

Birthday desserts for my baby girl who is no longer a baby 😭

I made vanilla cupcakes for Maura's birthday party to satisfy her 5 year old friends' palates. For our Sunday dinner dessert, her Sleeping Beauty cake is dark chocolate cake with cookies and cream frosting and crumbled Oreos.

My daughter took her role as supervisor of quality control pretty seriously on this one. Chocolate cake, vanilla frosting, and crushed Oreo filling may be her new favorite flavor combination.
