Do you guys want to receive sourdough starter kits? (Sourdough starter, banneton, sourdough tools, etc.) (this would also make the price vary)

Do you guys want to bake a loaf with me in class, or take home and bake yourself at your own home after class?

How long of a class do you guys want? (Short and sweet, or longer and more thorough) 1-3 hours?

Price range of class? (This would vary depending on what all tools are given and needed)

Okay friends… I have been thinking about something fun 👀

There is just something so special about flour on the counter, a jar of bubbly starter on the windowsill, and the smell of fresh bread baking in the oven 🤍 I’ve been thinking… how sweet would it be to gather together at a local little bakery space and spend a few hours learning sourdough the slow, cozy way? 🥖✨

I’m considering hosting a sourdough class where we would sit, learn the basics, talk all things starter (how to feed it, keep it alive, and make it thrive), practice shaping dough with our hands, and go over baking tips and more so you can confidently make beautiful loaves at home.

Whether you’re a total beginner or someone who’s tried and felt intimidated — this would be such a cozy, hands-on, confidence-building class 🫶🏼

Would anyone be interested in attending a sourdough class hosted by me at a local bakery space?! Drop a 🥖 in the comments if you’d be interested or tag a friend you’d bring with you!

If there’s enough interest, I’ll start planning dates 👏🏼✨ Whether you’re brand new or you’ve had a starter sitting in your fridge judging you 👀 this would be such a fun, hands-on experience. I truly think it would be the sweetest & funnest little gathering.

(Sourdough Brioche King cake for one of my Son’s 2nd Birthday Party)
I know I’ve been a little quiet on here lately — but it’s only because we have been BUSY. 🙌

In just the past few weeks, we’ve baked and sold over 110 sourdough brioche king cakes… and every single one has found a home.

To say I’ve pushed myself would be an understatement — 6 weeks postpartum, three babies at home, and running this business from my kitchen. It’s been long nights, early mornings, and a whole lot of flour… but I am so incredibly proud.

And even more than that — I’m grateful. Grateful that you’ve shown up. Grateful that you’ve trusted me with your Mardi Gras tables. Grateful that you’ve loved these king cakes as much as I love baking them.

I’m thinking about opening ONE LAST bake day this Friday to close out Mardi Gras season with a bang. 💜💚💛
