Humboldt Composite Graduates! 🎓🚵. Dinon, Asa and Béla!

These talented riders have been so much more than fast on a bike. They have been outstanding teammates, role models, and mentors who have helped make our team stronger. As they head off to universities, we know they’ll continue to accomplish amazing things. Congratulations, and thank you for the positive impact you’ve had on Humboldt Composite. We’ll miss you and can’t wait to see where your next adventure takes you! Béla has raced with Humboldt Composite for the past three years and has stood on the podium many times—no small accomplishment in the highly competitive NorCal race field! He is one of the most thoughtful and hard working teenagers we know. This fall, Béla is heading to Oregon State University to study engineering.

Dinon has been part of Humboldt Composite for five years and raced with the team for four. As a junior, he qualified to compete in the varsity division, impressive achievement. Dinon has the ability to make mountain biking look fun and impressive. His jumps, wheelies and love for the sport have inspired many of our younger riders! This fall, Dinon is headed to Southern Oregon University.

Asa has raced with the team for 3 years and has been a consistently strong rider with exceptional technical skills. His warm, cheerful presence has made him a valued teammate and friend. We expect to see plenty of Asa though as he’ll be attending Cal Poly Humboldt this fall! Congratulations, Asa—we’re excited to watch you succeed in this next chapter and look forward to seeing you out on the trails!

That’s a wrap for the 2026 race season for Humboldt Composite! Last weekend we brought 13 riders to race at Championships at Six Sigma Winery in Lake County over two days. The heats were huge and it was a windy, very dusty weekend but all of our riders finished strong! Thank you to all our sponsors for helping us make this a successful season!
