little full-circle moment for me ☀️

Back in FCCLA which use to be commonly known as Future Homemakers of America, I had the honor of serving as president. I was taught to make Strawberry bread and it was the very first sweet bread I ever made on my own —and it’s still one of my favorites to this day 🍓

Now getting to share it through Heritage Bakehouse, alongside my mommas cookies , just feels extra special. Some things really do come full circle ❤️❤️

Teacher appreciation week is next week and as always- we would love to help tell our teachers how appreciated they are!! Selling boxes again that can be dropped off at your child’s school with a note!

Staples I keep in my freezer that can literally make ✨ANYTHING✨
-puff pastery
-cream cheese

Today I wanted something a little sweet for breakfast!
-Preheat oven to 400
-Cut puff pastry sheet into desired amount- make whatever shape you like!
-mix 4oz of cream cheese, 2Talblespoon of sugar and a splash of vanilla. Whip until smooth
- cut inside edges to make a boarder but do not cut all the way through!
-put cream cheese mixture inside the boarder. Add any type of preserve, jam, pie filling, seasoning, salmon.. whatever you desire!
-add egg wash(egg yolk and a little water) to the boarder
-bake 18-22 mins until it is at your desired color and ENJOY!
