Thank you, Jesus 🤍

It’s a Good Friday.
I take my opportunities on here to celebrate Jesus and share my faith because He’s the reason why I am who I am. Why I do what I do. Why I believe what I believe.

I am always moved to tears when I reflect on the fact that He saw me, saw each one of us, while He was mocked and beaten and ridiculed. While He carried that cross. While they hammered nails into His hands and feet. And He still thought we were worthy.

I know many of us come from may backgrounds. I see the hypocrisy in the church. The corruption. The perversion.

But I say this again and again. The faults of humans…has nothing to do with who He is. Has nothing to do with what I’ve learned from Him and who He has called me to be.
Many of us have been deceived about His character, not by Him but by people. And I’m so sorry for that. I’m so so sorry to those who have been hurt and cast out and mistreated. He grieves that too because He too was once hurt, cast out and mistreated.

I hope you would all know Him fully for yourselves. Because He is good. He is kind. He is just. He is the one true King. And there is no one like Him. None beside Him. No rival. No equal. Happy Good Friday ☀️💛

One of the connect groups at my church had a dinner to celebrate Holy Week and I had the honor of baking bread for the event.

My prayer was for this bread to bless the tables it’s shared at and the bodies it nourishes... that it would spark meaningful conversations, pointing hearts to the sacrifice and victory of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ ✝️

This is what I mean when I say everything I bake is prayed over and blessed! It truly is an honor and a joy to remember each one of you as I bake!
