I have bad news. I will not be doing cookie platters this year. With a little luck, I'll be back to it next year.

I had back surgery 2 days before Thanksgiving, and I need to have both hips replaced next year. My left hip is completely bone on bone. I'm just in too much pain to do a cookie blitz.

That being said, I will be able to sell cookies by the batch. Check my pictures to see what's available and PM me for details. The size of the cookies will determine how many cookies are in a batch.

I will be accepting orders for a limited amount of cookies. Once I feel I reached my limit, I'll be done.

I can't believe it's already November. That means it's time to think about Christmas Cookies!! Because of rising costs of food (and everything else), I will need to make adjustments on cookie platters.

If you are interested in a cookie platter this year, please let me know in the comments if you would rather pay a little more for the same amount of cookies, or pay the same for less cookies?

I've been asked how I manage to get 21 different kinds of cookies baked and sent out so quickly. It takes several days and good planning. As soon as the dishes are done from Thanksgiving, I'm planning cookie platters. Once I've taken orders, I start pull out my recipes and put them in order - platter cookies, new cookies, and the taste test. I spend 3 days making dough. This year there are 21 recipes, so I split them into 3 stacks of 7. I started on Friday and finished today.

I've been asked about the cost of cookie platters this year. We all know the price of groceries has gone up an insane amount. Unfortunately, I will have to increase the price of platters to offset the increase. But these are a special and the holidays are already expensive, so I'm only raising the price by $5. If I ship/ deliver your cookie platter, it will be $45. If you pick it up, it's $35. For an extra $5, you will also get this year's taste test (eggnog cookies), as well as several extra treats!

I know we still have Thanksgiving, but I've been thinking about Christmas Cookie platters. I have some new cookies to add, but that means something else has to go. What did you love in your platter last year? What could you live without? Your opinion is very important. Thanks!!
