We have some work going on at our house today so admin hours will be limited. I have a couple of invoices to send but other than that custom orders are full for this weekend. We are not accepting new inquiries for this weekend

Friendly reminder that as we get back into the busy season we have less 'wiggle room" for last minute orders. We only need 3 days notice for signature items so please plan ahead to avoid disappointment ❤️

After a very lonnngggg two weeks without my right and left hand ladies the band is back together! We're cruisin' in the kitchen getting stocked up for the week

We were SO busy yesterday and I seriously can't thank you enough for your patience while I worked to restock. I'm solo in the kitchen this week and have been working around the clock to make as much product as possible for you all ❤️
I'm headed into the bakery for an early morning to finish up the custom orders & to restock what I can. I'm also the only retail employee today so once we open up I won't be able to get much more done in the kitchen
To start off Sunday we have three flavors of macarons, donuts, cherry chocolate Almond bread pudding, tarts, cake pops, and some mini cheesecakes. I'm going to try my best to get some more cupcakes out once the breakfast bake is done. We have all of our typical breakfast items and I prepped plenty of cinnamon bun dough before I left last night
We're open 9-2 today and I'll be here running the show! If you're waiting on an email from me regarding a custom order / weddings ill be getting back to everyone during my "office day" on Monday. Its been a long week away from my babies & I'm looking forward to spending some time with them once we close

All decorating classes are located in our classroom space, unit 10 in our building. Classes are not held in the bakery. Please note our tables and stools are counter height and not suitable for children who cannot sit independently
It's time to have "the talk"
Inflation is upon us and it seems like just existing is expensive AF. We're all feeling it, and the last couple of months have been especially hard on the business
I've avoided raising prices in the bakery by coming up with new items to wiggle profit margins, shopping different distributors, and to be honest taking out a heck of a big loan to cover holiday ingredients and packaging
Now that the 2022 books are closed and I'm running through the numbers, it's unfortunately clear that I cannot continue to absorb the costs of increased expenses if we want to keep this thing going
What does this mean? You may notice a small increase in pricing on some items throughout the bakery. In an effort to keep the increases as small as possible, I've found ways to absorb the inflation in other areas. Little things like shorter cake pop sticks, plastic (but recyclable! ) packaging, and using bags instead of boxes for single items will help us keep our prices fair until things settle down a bit. We will also be enforcing a $5 minimum on all credit card purchases to help us offset the increase in our processing fees.
Thank you for understanding and continuing to support us here at the sassy little sweet shop. In a time where every dollar matters, it's not lost on me that you make the choice to shop with us and please know I appreciate you big time. Just like every other obstacle, we'll get through this one together ❤️

Items on our valentines day menu are available 2/2-2/12 and we have pickup or delivery options!
Pickups are available during normal business hours. Deliveries are processed by a third party (doordash, Ubereats, and / or postmates) and subject to availability. Please note the bakery does not have any control over dispatching drivers and we do not have adequate staff to deliver orders if a third party is not available

It's Friday pie day! This week we have lemon meringue, chocolate pudding, and banana cream minis. I'll also be making full sized banana puddin' and chocolate puddin' pies after breakfast is out
Speaking of breakfast, I'm still covering the breakfast shift the next two weeks. I have the baby baker with me so thank you for your patience if items are coming out a bit later than usual. I'd say getting a sleepy 8 week old into a car seat at 6am is pretty close to what wrestling a tiny, angry alligator feels like
We're short staffed in both the kitchen and out fronts so I'm behind on emails for orders outside of the next two weeks. Fingers crossed I don't have to provide retail coverage for the afternoon shift so I can get caught up and add our valentines menu to online ordering 🤞

The valentines day menu is here! She's short, sweet, and ready to party. Rumor has it she likes to be shared with your friends if you know what we mean. We're focusing on making fewer items but more of them because it's not the size of the boat, it's the motion of ocean (or so our ex liked to tell us)
Our preorder menu is smaller than usual for this holiday, but don't worry! We'll have TONS more options available in store and a couple of specials to add to the website in the next few days . Junkaroos, sassy cookies, and some other very not safe for work items will be making an appearance on our social accounts so keep those eyes peeled!

DELAYED MENU DROP
Hi friends! Our ingredient delivery arrived later than expected so I'm just leaving the bakery now. I was able to get all the items made for photos but the lighting at night is TRASH so I'm saving photos for tomorrow morning!

Also new for the holiday... DELIVERY! full transparency, it's through a third party and expensive AF for us to offer, so delivery orders will cost more to offset the cost of using the service. In store pricing will remain the same , so break out the good sweatpants and come on in if you don't want to pay the extra fees!

Good morning! It's Monday which means the bakery is closed and I'm home with my minis.
I use Monday as a work from home day to pay bills, answer emails, and send invoices for custom orders. Thank you for your patience as I sneak in work hours during nap times! Today's project is to update the custom order page of our website to make the form easier to use and pricing more transparent
Reminder that custom order availability is very limited for January. Both my baker & decorator are on vacation so orders are limited while I'm a one woman show in the kitchen. If you haven't submitted your inquiry, please do so asap to avoid disappointment
We pride ourselves on being a bake to order shop and ask for two weeks notice for all custom cakes. If you need a cake for the current week, please note we still require the custom inquiry form to be filled out.
