🌺 The story behind Sea Salt and Sugar Sands 🌺
I lived in Maui for years, and I loved every bit of it — the smell of salt air, the ocean breeze, sand between my toes. The sense of ohana wherever I went. And flavors unlike anything I’d grown up with.
While I was there, I baked for people often. Neighbors, friends, whoever wandered by. That’s really where this bakery began — not as a plan, just love for a place and its people. 🌴
When my grandkids were born, I came home to Wisconsin. But I brought the island back with me.
