Ahh. The famous Dacqoise. Layers of meringue pastry, layered with chocolate ganache and coffee buttercream. This is the legendary dessert made famous by La Cote Basque, the restaurant that reigned for many years as the best French restaurant in New York City. When it closed, I got the recipe!

Ahh. Chocolate chunk cookies. Not your old fashioned Toll house type. These are turbo charged with Jacque Torres chocolate, made with browned butter(for elevated flavor), and sprinkled lightly with Coveted Maldon sea salt from Great Britain. Oh, and drizzled with dark chocolate. YUM.

Pretty little 6 inch fresh strawberry cake for a birthday girl. Cloaked in Swiss meringue buttercream with fresh puréed strawberries. The flower is made of fondant so it's edible!

This sheet cake weighed in at about 12 lbs. Lots of Giardelli chocolate, Bensdorp cocoa from the Netherlands (expensive and worth every penny), 12 sticks of fine organic butter. Made for Jennifer Prins mom's birthday!! Hope everyone enjoyed it!
