I’m not a “canner” so to utilize the most of our harvest, I choose to freeze. Cut and prepped some tomatoes and green bell peppers from our garden, then “individually quick froze” on parchment. I transferred to a baggie in the freezer that way they don’t all clump together! It’s almost chili season, so I see these products going to good use 🍁🍂

Telling a baker to halt pumpkin spice production is like asking Hobby Lobby to not sell Christmas stuff until November - especially for the planners! I will wait until September 1. But I’m ready!!

The last of the meal prep is done! I don’t love the deep fryer, but sometimes you just need it. When I use it I make sure to get my time and quantity worth! Panko “crispy” chicken I reheat in the oven to get the crisp back. I use it as a main dish, chicken Parmesan, or tonight threw it into homemade Tikka Malasa sauce featuring some home grown tomatoes 🍅🍅 I made a large enough quantity to provide enough sauce for 5 more meals. And to balance it all out, the rice was minute rice 🤣 I do more than make cookies!

Sometimes I hand cut cookies if I don’t think the value of the cookie cutter will be worth the long term investment. I usually hand draw those too, I think I missed the mark on the VW 😢 but overall I am satisfied with the way this order came together! Surfs up! 🌊🌊 can you tell honesty is my policy 😉☺️

I don’t know how to do anything in moderation 😬🙃 so I’m stocking that freezer full! Lasagna, enchiladas, pre cooked chicken, and homemade chicken nuggets are some of my freezer go tos!!

If I have learned anything during my cookie adventures it’s that every season for adults come with a dose of “hard”. Some have it “hard” because of young children, some have teenagers and college/life defining decisions, others are preparing funerals and celebrations of life. These were recently paired with butterflies to enjoy as a family gathered to celebrate the life of a loved one. Whatever you do, taken advantage of EVERY season…and enjoy some cookies with it! ❤️❤️

Made a customer laugh the other day when I said I had 4 cookies cakes made (I bake off fresh to order 🤫🤐 it my secret) by 7:45am! She said I was crazy, I just said, “some people burn calories early, I just produce them!” These will be a part of a flash sale to exhaust my stock. Call dibs if you want them now (I have 3) SOLD OUT!

This weeks variety (and one order has already gone out)! I have experienced major creative block this week! It’s taken a night off and more time than usual to get these orders completed 🫣 although I think my heart and mind are also really preparing for baby. Hoping customers are still satisfied with their products!

I really am no cake decorator, but I do at least trust the product within! “Everyone was talking about how perfect your cake tasted and how it was the perfect amount of icing to cake ratio and it looked really cool and tasted amazing!”

One order, separate pictures. Because: gluten free sand dollars! It’s important to be aware there is a lot of gluten around our house/kitchen, but I do the absolute best I can to minimize any cross contact!

Our family will be growing here real soon! Unfortunately, I am unable to take on any more orders at this time. July is fully booked and as of August 1st I am placing myself on a self proclaimed maternity leave. I will be returning to my full time teaching gig, preparing for baby girl (due Aug 22nd) and just focusing on everyone’s health and well being as we make this transition to a family of 5. I have NO clue what the next chapter looks like, except things are rapidly changing on the home front with older age children, later bed times, and evening activities. ❤️ Chelsea
