Hi Friends, many of you know I've really slowed things down, and plan to take my website down in a few weeks. I still LOVE baking, but plan to take it easy this summer, relax with my little man, do a little traveling, and work on a cookbook with my friend Mary. Most of my baking in the future will be for charity (you know I'm a sucker for dogs and babies!) I'll definitely keep posting from time to time, like today.... I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate Logan's teachers, and just so happens one of his teacher's birthdays is tomorrow. We made this cake together today (let me tell you, red icing and toddler fingers are no joke), but it's just our way of saying thanks. We think teachers are pretty special people.

Well, I've been taking it easy lately- but, I couldn't resist making cupcakes for two of the sweetest princesses you'll ever meet. This is a sample of a few of the cupcakes for their party tomorrow. No princess birthday is complete without edible crowns, and smash cakes of course! Happy Birthday Izzy and Harper! :)

I'm really deliquent in posting what I've been working on, whether it be cakes, cookies, blogging new recipes, etc. I have to be honest, now that I have a little free time (little person is in preschool) I like to run, (by myself), cook some pretty fantastic dinners, and do laundry..... by myself. I love that my little guy finally loves school so much, so I made an edible image I'm planning to print on cookies for his teachers. I also host Thanksgiving at my house, so will be making edible placecards for my guests. I thought I'd share the love, if you are interested in cookies for turkey day, message me!
