Aloha beautiful Butter’d community! 🌞 I do apologize for the last minute nature of this announcement. I (Alexa, the owner and baker), will be having a surgery mid-May. It was originally planned for late June, but yesterday was moved up..

I am so disappointed to be missing out on Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and all the graduation festivities this year. However, I am really hopeful that this break will bring a better, Butter’d future. I cannot wait to be all healed up and back baking for you again. Mahalo everyone for your support 🫶✨🌺

Aloha friends! Above is our current calendar through April. This upcoming week and the next, we will be focusing on baking for .kakou, prepping our Easter items, and getting out into the community to volunteer with clean up after these storms. While I write in the ‘royal We’ (not me manifesting employees 😅), I am actually a one lady operation. I am slowly learning to find balance, and this seemed like the perfect time to exercise some.

Separate from this crazy weather - I want to express my deepest gratitude to this community who has been so incredibly supportive and generous with their compliments, shares, likes and orders. In my wildest dreams, I never considered Butter’d would receive so much love. For that reason, in May, we will be taking some time off from private orders to try and restructure for a better, Butter’d experience. We will still be baking items up for .kakou! So you can continue to get your fix there. Looking forward to all the things to come. Thank you again for supporting Butter’d and enjoying our items 💛✨🧈

New Item for our 🌷Spring Menu 🌺 The Spring Onion-Ali’i Mushroom Crostata - Caramelized onions and ali’i mushrooms combined with Gruyère cheese and spring onion; topped with a Parmesan crust, flakey Hawaiian sea salt, and fresh dill sprig; on our signature all-butter thyme and black pepper crust 🧅🍄‍🟫

It has the flavor of a French onion soup, with the naturally sweet caramelized onions (done low and slow to perfection) combine with the spring onion for a delightful alluvial flavor, a delicious texture and bite from the locally grown Ali’i mushrooms from , and the creamy tang of Gruyère and Parmesan cheese to round it all out. This filling is perfectly complimentary with the thyme and black pepper from the crust.

This order is for the sweetest family. Both the kids have reported back that they LOVE the muffins! Both kids can agreeing on a food… a WIN! When a kiddie who is a shy eater enjoys our items, it is possibly one of the biggest compliments we can get. Knowing one of our items is going to be a core memory for a little one 🥹 is one of the top reasons I love doing this bakery business.

A recipe I developed after being inspired by all of the incredible banana bread at road side stands along Hana Highway. This banana bread is moist, light and full of flavor! Ask us about our cupcake variation!!
