I will open a preorder for Father’s Day orders, and can do a pickup option Friday afternoon in JC or delivery for a small charge 🥖

Literally so annoying. This girl is s l e e p y. Trust me, I hate wasting food and I hate wasting money. I tried everything I could to save this dough. Here’s what happened: I prep my starter the night before my dough day, and give her a very big feed so she’s ready to work in the morning. I also do a 12 hour autolyse to get the dough working while I sleep. This makes for a quicker morning and less mixing. Well, my dough did its job. My starter was a lazy girl and kept pressing the snooze button. She never woke up. Like, never in 24 hours. My autolyse was out of time because that was WAY too long for it. So it couldn’t be saved, even if my starter had gotten her act together (which she didn’t). So here I am throwing all that dough away. 40 loaves of dough. And let me tell you, that was HARD on the shoulders 😂 wow. My delts put in some work 😂

I know you all know me as Fifth Season Sourdough but if ever there was a time to rebrand, it’s at the beginning.

I love all things baking and cooking so looking forward to the future, I want the name to be something inclusive of ALL things delicious! Don’t worry, sourdough is still my main menu item 😛 only the name has changed!
