Are you ready to meet another vendor? We are excited to welcome back a returning vendor, Amanda Hendren, of Blossom Bridge Flower Farm. A farmers' market would not be complete without an oppourtinity to grab some fresh floral bouquets to take home. Amanda enjoys being a stay-at-home mom for her young family and pursuing her passion for flowers. Soaking up every bit of this beautiful weather lately! It’s the kind of week that makes you extra grateful to be outside, hands in the dirt. We’re getting ready to plant lots of little baby plants, and I love that I get to do it with my two flower managers by my side (even if we end up a little muddy).

The best part? Knowing all this hard work is going to turn into flowers we get to share with all of you. Is this weather bringing you life too!?

When you’re ready for Spring blooms but it’s only November 🤷🏼‍♀️

How about buying a Tulip subscription ahead of time to ensure you get some of the first flowers to bloom in 2025? This would also make a perfect gift for the holidays for the mom or grandma who loves fresh blooms but is hard to shop for.

One of my favorite parts of growing flowers, is getting to harvest them. I spent lots of time this summer trying to find the right moment to cut each bloom. But for our family, “Harvest Season” typically means cutting soy beans and corn, and if we want to spend time with dad we meet him in the field. It’s not harvesting small amounts over a long season, it’s large amounts all at once. Here’s to the farmers, y’all are doing a great job!

With the frost coming tonight, I know this flower season has come to an end. I’m here to thank all of you for making my first flower season so special. It’s been a joy to see you all enjoying the beautiful blooms that were grown with so much love. I’m already looking forward to next spring when I’ll have even more vibrant flowers to share with you. I enjoyed each and every time I saw my flowers bring a smile to someone’s face. Thank you once again for your support and for making my flower season so memorable. I can’t wait to see you all again next spring!

I love flowers for many reasons but what makes them so special is when a certain type of flower reminds you of someone you love.

This pretty bucket got picked up this morning for a wedding tomorrow. The grooms’ mother is now passed and they wanted her favorite flower, zinnias, in remembrance of her. How beautiful is that?

My great grandmother always chose carnations over roses because she said they last longer. Now anytime I see carnations, I think of her 🤍
