A lot of people see the finished cookie, but not the planning that happens first.

Before I ever mix icing colors, I sketch out custom designs to make sure every detail will fit on the cookie and that the final design captures exactly what my client is envisioning.

These custom birthday cookies for twin sisters turning 5 are officially approved and ready to become reality. 💜✨

Now comes the fun part—bringing them to life with icing!

This photo popped up in my memories today.

That's me and my grandma on her 92nd birthday. I made her a pineapple upside-down ice cream cake because pineapple upside-down cake was her absolute favorite dessert.

Now it's one of my mom's favorites, too, and one my kids immediately associate with Grandma.

Funny how recipes do that. They get passed down right alongside the memories.

Making my pineapple upside-down cookies this week had me thinking about all of that.

So now I'm curious...

I wanted to take a minute to thank everyone who stopped by, shared a post, told a friend, placed an order, or grabbed cookies this weekend.
I brought 76 cookies to market and every single one found a home by the end of the weekend. As a small business, that kind of support means more than you know.
I also want to thank my fellow vendors, the event organizers, and everyone who took the time to stop and chat. Meeting new people is one of my favorite parts of these events.
Now it's time to restock, work on upcoming custom orders, and get ready for the next market.

This set was such an honor to create. 💛

"Birdies for Goldie" is a memorial golf outing held in honor of sweet Goldie. Funds raised from the event will help create a memorial garden—a lasting place for family, friends, and the community to remember and celebrate her life.

The butterfly in the center of these photos holds special meaning. When a baby passes, one butterfly is placed with the child, and the matching butterfly is given to the parents as a keepsake. This butterfly was given to our family for Atlas, which made creating this set especially close to my heart.

For the cookies, I chose soft spring colors, delicate florals, and butterflies to reflect the love, remembrance, and hope that this event represents.

Wishing everyone involved a beautiful day and continued support as they build something truly special in Goldie's memory. 💛🦋
