This week's menu:

🍮 Sticky Toffee Pudding — warm, rich, and deeply Scottish
🍪 Empire Biscuits — double shortbread sandwiched with raspberry preserves from local Berry Ridge Farms, finished with sweet icing
🍪 Shortbread — buttery and classic, the way it should be

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🔥 THISTLEDOWN'S FIRST APPEARANCE IN ERWIN — TONIGHT! 🔥🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Erwin, are you ready for "Scotland, baked right here in the Tennessee hills"? Tonight marks my very first appearance at the Erwin Farmers Market, and I can't wait to bring a taste of Scotland to your evening. 🌿

I had to miss last week's market because my other markets sold me clean out before I could even restock for it. That kind of support has been incredible — one customer summed it up with "five stars, easy," and another called my treats "super yummy" — but tonight, Erwin finally gets its turn, fresh and ready to go.

Hiya everyone — I have to say it: I am completely astounded by the love you've shown Thistledown. It's been just 17 days since I opened, and the support has already been beyond anything I imagined. Watching my tables go bare during the market, sometimes before it's even over, has been the best problem a one-woman bakery could ask for, and I owe every bit of it to you. 💙

🌿💚 A wee update from Thistledown 💚🌿

Friends, I have some bittersweet news — I will not be at the Erwin Farmers Market this evening.

The good news? You all absolutely cleaned us out this week! Between Elizabethton on Tuesday and VA Mountain Home yesterday, my shelves are bare and my heart is full. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I didn't want anyone making the trip to Erwin tonight and finding my treats missing — you deserve better than that! I'll be back at Erwin soon and we can't wait to see you there.

Thank you so much for the incredible support in just my first weeks. It means the world. 🌸

Please note that our beekeepers are OUT until closer to July, as they are beginning to harvest honey for the next few weeks, but rest assured they'll be back with fresh local honey soon! 🐝🍯

We’ve recovered from our awesome Opening Day at our main market on Tuesday at Kiwanis Park, and we are back with a mini-market pop-up at the Downtown Elizabethton First Friday: Summer Vibes ☀️ event in Covered Bridge Park! 🌻
This special event will be held Friday, June 5th, from 5-8pm.

If you are new to our page, please note that this is a MINI pop-up market event with a small selection of 8 of our vendors; this is not our normal lineup of 40-50 vendors weekly! You can stop by Friday and get a little taste of what’s available at our main market, and then come visit us weekly… ⬇️
