Join us on Halloween for community and fiber-filled fun. Bring your own projects or enjoy our demonstrations on weaving, spinning, knitting, or crochet. If you are stuck on a project or new fiber art, feel free to bring it with you and we can help. NJ Fibershed’s Q***r Crafternoons are a fun way to share and learn new crafts in a queer-friendly environment.

We’re excited to announce our 2026 barn crawl will take place THIS WEEKEND on May the 16th and the 17th! Our farms are proud to showcase local New Jersey wool grown right on their pastures. Aside from local wool, farms will host local artisans to showcase their products. We hope you join us for some sheepy shenanigans!

This year the NJ Fibershed is proud to be representing New Jersey at the 2026 sheep to shawl competition. Our team met today to practice and work out the logistics of the competition. Come cheer on and support the team May 3rd at the auction tent from 10 AM to 1 PM. We hope to see you there!

Our third farm spotlight! located in Branchburg. A little bit about them:
Hi Kai, here it is - At Windswept, we raise Romney sheep and production style Polled Dorsets in Central NJ. We focus on producing quality fleeces, roving and yarns for fiber artists. We also offer fiber fertilizer (wool pellets), sheepskins and breeding stock.

A short farm highlight for one of our farms, , in Warren county Nj:
“Jenny Jump Farm is located in rural Northwest New Jersey. The farm was established in 1991 and is dedicated to preserving Jacob Sheep breed. The name Jenny Jump comes from Jenny Jump State Forest located on the mountain behind our farm. We raise purebred Jacob Sheep for their unique wool, their intelligence and hardy nature.
We focus on providing high quality fleeces, yarn and roving for the discerning fiber artist.”
