Hi friends! It's been awhile since I've been on this side of the camera😬 (usually I like to stay behind the lens). So I'll take this opportunity to introduce myself.
My name is Raney and I'm a wife and mama. I started Whisk and Joy in 2020 after teaching myself how to decorate cakes. I've been baking since I was a little girl in my grandmothers' kitchens (yes I had 2 incredible grandmothers), but I took it a step further to learn the decorating side as an adult. Most people ask what I like most and I'd definitely have to say the decorating. I love sketching ideas with my customers and bringing them to life with a finished product. I'm quite a perfectionist and pay attention to the details and that shows in my cakes.
My vision for W+J has always been to be the hands and feet of Jesus through my creations, service, giving back and relationships I build with my customers. W+J was founded on the love for others as well as being flexible for my own family. My family and faith will always be my priority.
I'm super grateful for this business and the family and friends that have stood behind me throughout the ups and downs. W+J wouldn't be here without my mama (who I lost in 2021). You'll hear about her from time to time 💛
