I debated even making a post about this but I didn’t want anyone to notice the change and be confused lol…

A few weeks ago I mentioned that I would stop sharing identifiable faces on my business account, just out of caution with so many families opting to keep their kids offline.

I PROMISE I was not intending to upset anyone, I was just trying to make more clients comfortable. However, I have received some feedback from clients and friends that I had never considered.

I sincerely apologize to anyone that felt like I was judging your parenting choices if you post your kids. I have always believed that everyone should do what is best for their family! I have posted my own kids for years! With that being said, someone recently told me that with my announcement, it seems like I’m taking away that choice for families- that it should always be up to the parents and they shouldn’t feel judged if they do want to post their babies.

I had some clients also tell me that they LOVE when photographers post their family because it makes them feel loved and special and seen.

I truthfully had not considered those things on my end and I promise that I was not passing judgment onto anyone at all!
I do not want anyone to feel offended or judged in their decisions or to feel like I’m taking their choice away.

With that being said, I will go back to sharing images with parents consent- but I do still want to make it super clear that I will never post your photos without your consent! While you have always had the option to simply tell me or ask that I don’t share online- I’ll be explicitly asking in the questionnaire what you’re comfortable with from now on!

Again, I am really sorry to anyone that felt like I was over-stepping. I love you all❤️

Heyyyyyyy me again 🫣

Yall are probably tired of hearing from me but one thing about me is I don’t like to be stagnant. I want to continue growing and improving and so here I am again with another update.

Yesterday’s post and poll was split almost 50/50 on who would prefer a commercial studio space and who would prefer a mobile studio soooooo I guess I’ll offer both🤪

Whichever is easier for you, I’ll do - because that is my end goal anyway. I’ve said it 1000 times, I want to make your session as easy as possible. So if you don’t wanna leave the house, I shall pack up and head to you! I promise I need less space than you’d think, and you still get high quality portraits! If you want the studio experience, I am becoming a resident at a commercial studio and will be holding studio sessions there. This will offer a more luxurious experience for clients, with more space and even more props!

Of course, the next few months will be a test run and I’ll make changes as needed but I’m excited to offer these! I know no one ever “cared” about my studio being on my property, but if I can make the experience even better, I will.

PS- I’m offering a couple of discounts to anyone that wants to do a mobile session & let me make content👀 I think some videos of me setting up/showing real homes will help clients be able to envision it better!
