This is Sally's son Douglas. I have tried my best to reach out to all current customers to update them so if I have missed you I deeply apologize.
Sally unexpectedly passed away Sunday evening surrounded by her loving family. As her "Cake Helper" I wanted to thank each and every one of you for trusting my mom with whatever occasion you needed a cake for whether it was a wedding, birthday, anniversary, and beyond.
Baking was truly one of her greatest joys in life, to the point that she structured her life and home around her kitchen. She started decorating cakes in High School as an elective in Home Ec and continued to expand her skills and talents for the next 40+ years. Many of you know her from her current small cake business "Cakes By Sally" and some of you know her from her "Especially for You" shop days.
I will be including on this post an invitation to her celebration of life tomorrow Friday 4/11/2025. All are welcome to come, share stories, and pay their respects to her memories.
I will also be pinning this post to the top of her page. If you or a loved one would like to share any and all pictures of the wonderful creations she made, I would love to create this small memorial for her lasting legacy on the community.
Once again, thank you all so much for trusting Mom with your orders. She truly cherished her work and her customers.
