Loading our whole wheat sourdough sesame bagels up for today’s delivery!

This baker is celebrating a major victory as making bagels from scratch has been on my mind for YEARS. My deep and true love of the bagel has held me back. Dare I even try? After much ado, I gave it a whirl and threw them on this week’s menu. These all-sourdough bagels have a deep brown, thin, crackly skin and an unparalleled depth of flavor with our freshly milled hard red wheat, and truly do the bagel justice.

Cheddar Bay Scones! Ok you know I was thinking about those biscuits at Red Lobster…These came out tasting ten times fresher and with a zing of lemony garlic butter painted on top. RIDICULOUS! They are headed out the door along with our Berry Marscapone Cake 🍓and Orange Sweet Rolls 🍊

Headed out for deliveries on this sunny Friday afternoon!

House sugar plum Easter Tarts, Dark Chocolate Rye Walnut Brownies, Coconut Molasses Bran Muffins and our Cup of Tea Cake, a comforting and moist olive oil ricotta cake infused with floral Earl Grey and drizzled with our own backyard bee honey glaze. Best served with fresh blackberries.

Halfway through the last piece of this cream cheese coffee cake, I realize I have finally done it. I made the coffee cake I have been craving for years. A thick layer of cheesecake filling sandwiched between soft Sonora wheat cake with a ridiculous amount of crunchy cinnamon streusel on top. Simple, delicious. Black coffee. Yes.

Along with our Goat Cheese and Chive Scones, I’ve also included a glamour shot of our kitchen in total disarray because my tiny baking assistant is TEETHING and things never go to plan when a little one is growing their first tooth. I’m just being real here and saying I am so pleased I was able to finish the bake today and also very jazzed about what I stuffed into today’s boxes!

After our road trip back home to introduce our latest addition to the family, our hearts are full and we are super excited to unveil the latest ROYAL JELLY MENU!

It's amazing how food can keep us connected over time and space, no matter how far apart we are, how different our schedules look, or what news stations we tune into. The Jerdings have been making Easter Tarts every Easter for generations, and now we get to share them with you!

Marrying into the Jerding family meant I was to be initiated into the long standing tradition of The Easter Tart. Lucky me! Grandma Jerding's secret recipe makes for light and flaky hand pies, which we then fill with our house Palisade apricot filling for a truly unforgettable pastry experience.

In addition to our old world style 100% freshly milled hard red wheat sourdough bread loaves, we are also baking...

*Cream Cheese Coffee Cake*
Moist and dense Sonora wheat cake with a layer of cheesecake filling, topped with a crunchy cinnamon streusel. UNREAL. We love our Earl Grey but this cake begs to be paired with a cup of black coffee!

*Goat Cheese Chive Scone*
Whipped chevre meets our homegrown windowsill chives! These flaky and tender savory scones can be eaten as is, or make the best breakfast sandwich vessel ever...

*Apricot Easter Tart*
A true sign of Spring, handheld flaky mini pies are filled with our house Palisade apricot preserves. A top secret recipe handmade with love.

*Carrot Apple Ginger Bran Muffin*
Freshly grated ginger completes these warmly spiced carrot apple bran muffins. Is there any better way to get your fruits and vegetables??
