This has been another incredible school year filled with many accomplishments for the students, teacher, staff, and the PTP! I am so grateful for all of the wonderful support that our group has received to make these events happen! With that being said, I will be stepping down from my lead position with the PTP. My family schedule has changed this school year, and it is time for me to follow those opportunities. The PTP is looking for a new person, pair, or group of people to help support our school for the 2026-2027 school year. If you are interested in being involved in your student's school by volunteering to be on the PTP, please reach out to Mr. Henderson or any of the PTP Committee Members (Lyndsay Lindberg, Heather Bogue, Kelsie Nettles, Marissa Skirvin).

I would like to thank everyone for their support during this opportunity to serve our awesome elementary school - especially my committee, my family, friends, teachers, staff, and our students! It has been a truly rewarding experience! Our schools - teachers, staff, and students need your support more than ever, so please consider stepping up to help make a difference!

As we near the end of the school year, this is just a reminder to turn in your Our Family UPC Barcode labels. We would like all labels to be turned in by Thursday, May 21st. You can send these labels to school with your student to turn in. These labels are then counted and mailed in. We receive 5 cents for each label that is collected.

Please continue to collect your labels over the summer as well! Also, please share this information with your family and friends to collect their labels as well. They are found on every Our Family product that you purchase at Ida Grove Food Pride. Thank you for your continued support! ❤️ ✏️ ✂️ 💚

On our 5th and final day of Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week, we celebrated our country’s upcoming 250th birthday! The teachers & staff were treated to cake pops & Bubbl’r!

Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week is May 4-8, 2026. This year's theme is Red, White, and Blue...We Appreciate You! We have a fun week planned with treats, food, and more for the teachers & staff that will be held each day during Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week.

We are treating the Ida Grove Elementary teachers & staff to a soft serve ice cream machine rental on Tuesday, May 5th and would love to have your help in covering the ice cream machine rental cost and the toppings for the ice cream.
