Well… remember that last-minute decision I made? 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

Unfortunately, sometimes life has other plans!

As much as I was looking forward to being part of Hutto Olde Tyme Days, I’ve had to make the tough decision to sit this one out. Between my nursing schedule and bakery life, there just aren’t enough hours in the day to get everything prepared the way I would like. 🩺🧁

And if you know me, you know I don’t like doing anything halfway!

I’m definitely disappointed, but sometimes you have to remind yourself that you can’t do it all… even when you convince yourself you can! 😂

Thank you to everyone who was planning to stop by and support Batter & Co. Bakehouse! It truly means so much to me. 🤎

Wishing everyone a wonderful time at Hutto Olde Tyme Days! Hopefully, I’ll catch y’all at the next event!

In true Cassandra fashion, I made a last-minute decision and signed Batter & Co. Bakehouse up for the 41st Annual Hutto Olde Tyme Days this Sat, Oct 10th!

Was this planned well in advance? Absolutely not. 😂
Will I now be baking like a crazy woman? Absolutely. 👩🏻‍🍳🍪🧁

I’ll have a variety of fresh-baked goodies for sale, so come find the Batter & Co. Bakehouse booth, say hi, and grab something sweet! 🤎

Another week of creating something a little different for every celebration! From sentimental and classic to magical and sweet, I loved bringing each of these cakes to life. ✨

This week’s lineup included:

* 🌅 Mexican Vanilla + Strawberry Filling — a special photo cake made in remembrance of someone dearly loved, my grandpa ❤️
* ⚡ Funfetti — a Harry Potter-inspired birthday cake
* 🩷🩵 Strawberry — a sweet gender reveal cake plus vanilla cupcakes 🧁
* 🍓 Mexican Vanilla + Strawberry Filling — topped with fresh strawberries
* 🥥 Coconut Cake — simple, classic and simply delicious

🎀 Pink, Pearls & Bows for a very special celebration

This cake was extra special to create. 💗 I’m honored to volunteer with Icing Smiles, a nonprofit that provides donated celebration cakes to children and families impacted by critical illness.

For this sweet celebration, the request was pink, pearls, and bows—and I loved bringing every little detail together. 🎀🤍✨

Being able to use something I love to help make someone’s special day a little brighter is truly one of the sweetest parts of baking. I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to be a small part of these special moments. 💕
