Y’all, we are truly TEXAS STRONG. I don’t have words. The turnout yesterday at Keller Farmers Market for my little cookies, was truly amazing. We were out by 10:45! The hugs, the tears, the kindness to help others in their time of need…thank you. We will have our final total to send to World Central Kitchen next week, and I’ll share the donation post with you all.

My heart has been so heavy this past week. The devastation down south, the ongoing search and recovery, the heartbroken families, it’s really taken a toll on so many all over our great state.
So many, like myself, have asked ‘how can we help’?, ‘what can we do’?
So, with that in mind, I will be selling these little Texas butter cookies at Keller Farmers Market this Saturday 7/12, for $2 a package. All proceeds will go to World Central Kitchen, who have been serving meals to all the folks affected by the floods, as well as the first responders and volunteers who have been working around the clock helping. Every little bit helps.

This Saturday, July 12th, Keller Farmers Market is Going Green for Texas. 💚

We’re displaying green ribbons to show our love and support for those impacted by the devastating floods in Kerr County and surrounding areas.

In times like these, we’re reminded how deeply connected we are as Texans. As a small nonprofit, we wish we had the means to do more—but we can come together as a community and stand in solidarity.

We’ll be handing out green ribbons at the market for you to wear and placing large ribbons on the bridge as a tribute to:

The victims and their families
The survivors
The heroic first responders
The volunteers and neighbors helping on the ground

Our thoughts, prayers, and heartfelt hopes go out to all who are affected. 💚
