So I am going to give you my story as I tell it to many of my new and existing customers. I participated in local craft shows and Farmers Markets and did custom orders to the Sandusky, Ohio areas. I continued operating in various areas of the State of Ohio but only continued to operate as a home based "hobby" business as I was working as a Restaurant Manager for big chain restaurants and always fo
cused primarily on that career. When the Pandemic shutdown occurred on March 11, 2020 my life along with so many others changed forever. I was living and working in the Painesville, Ohio area (a suburb of Cleveland). After a phone call with my adult children I decided to pack up and move to the Findlay, Ohio area and reside with my daughter until life as we knew it would or could return to normal. During the first few weeks in Findlay, Ohio I met a local businessman who suggested I start baking and delivering out of the home since everything was limited or closed and no one was going out in fear of catching the dreaded coronavirus. I became a hit and after several months decided to start looking for a commercial kitchen to use and started doing my research. I of course found CIFT/NOCK and the rest is kind of history. After meeting with Paula Ray, becoming an LLC, getting all of the necessary paperwork and certifications in and following the guidelines to get started I was operating in the general kitchen by September 2020. All of this during a pandemic, "What a wild but empowering, satisfying (not always smooth but definitely successful) ride it has been! None of this would have been possible without this incredible resource located in Bowling Green, Ohio. I have had record sales years every year since beginning my usage at this facility and am looking forward to furthering my capabilities, mentoring young and new entrepreneurs and continuing to gain knowledge with the help and guidance from CIFT/NOCK."
