A lot of people have asked me why I chose the name “Sweet as Skittles” and honestly there is no super spiritual, deep answer. I was sitting with friends one night, weeks before I even though about selling stickers, and the phrase popped into my head during a conversation. My friends loved it, I loved it so much I made it into a phone background. Later when I was playing with the idea of selling stickers the Lord reminded me of that phrase and it just felt right. I was unsatisfied with every other clever name I could come up with, my stickers had to be called Sweet as Skittles, because honestly they are that sweet.

Guys!! It’s been about 2 weeks since Sweet as Skittles Co launched! Starting this shop has been so fun, and life giving! I am so expectant for what the Lord has for this, and where it’ll be in even another week! If you have bought stickers, THANK YOU SO MUCH! It means more than I can express!

I mentioned in my fun facts post that one of my favorite bible stories is the story of Deborah in Judges 4 and 5 (I highly recommend reading these passages, they will stir your faith!). We’re shown through the story that our yes helps advance the kingdom of God by propelling others into their destinies. Deborahs yes to 1) Being a mother to an entire nation, and 2) Agreeing to go into battle with Barak shifted the nation of Israel into 40 years of peace. Hi, Let me introduce myself! My name is Aria, and I am the founder of Sweet as Skittles Co stickers! I thought it would be fun for you guys to know a little about me, so here we go!
I am 24 years old, and grew up in Williamsburg Virginia. I graduated with a degree in journalism and media. On the weekend you can find me either shopping or cooking, or at a coffee shop out with friends (matcha is the way to my heart btw)
I have always loved designing and creating, but more recently it feels like the Lord has opened up my mind so much more to the possibilities of what creating does. I am so happy that I can use something as simple as stickers to communicate the heart of God. You can handle whatever challenge you’re facing, not because how great your are, but because of the power of Jesus in you. When we put all of our trust is in Jesus, thats when peace and confidence become our normal, and the challenges we face become non-issues.

Guys!! I’ve done something crazy, and fun, and well I STARTED A STICKER COMPANY!! I started Sweet as Skittles Co stickers as a way to encourage and empower the people around me. In a time that is so uncertain, the one thing that remains is Jesus, and His command for us to take courage. This is not something that just comes by us just being but happens when we command ourselves to come into alignment with the Kingdom of God, and the heart of Jesus. But what does a sticker have to do with that? A sticker is such a small but simple way to bring inspiration, and encouragement to your everyday. We put stickers everywhere; mirrors, laptops, water bottles etc. We keep them close to be taken back to a favorite memory or to be easily reminded of something. I want my stickers to remind you that you are worth more than you know and that you can handle whatever challenge you’re facing. I want them to push you to take courage, and remind you of the sweet things in life.
