Hello, friends! 🌿 It’s been a while since I last shared an update, and I wanted to take a moment to reconnect and let you know why I took a break. After Hurricane Helene swept through, bringing devastating impacts across our beautiful state, posting pretty cake photos just didn’t feel right.

My heart was with my community—especially Western NC, where the damage hit close to home. My daughter’s college had to close for three weeks, but we were fortunate to bring her home safely. That first week, I joined local efforts to help sort and pack supplies for those affected, hoping to support in any way I could.

Since then, I’ve been working on wedding cakes for my wonderful clients during this always-busy fall season. These cakes are a reminder of joy and resilience, even in challenging times. Thank you all for your patience and understanding during my break. I’m thrilled to be back, and I look forward to sharing some beautiful creations and exciting news with you very soon! 💖

My Heart is With Western Carolina 💔

I’m absolutely devastated by the destruction that Hurricane Helene has brought to an area so close to my heart. As many of you know, I’ve had the pleasure of working with incredible wedding professionals in these beautiful towns and have dear friends there.
The death and destruction are even worse than what’s being reported—entire communities have been left in unimaginable conditions, some completely wiped out.

These people are in desperate need of help right now and will be for the foreseeable future. Homes, livelihoods, and lives have been lost.

If you can spare anything, even the smallest amount, please consider donating to the relief efforts. Every bit counts, and together, we can make a difference for those trying to rebuild their lives after this tragedy. 🙏

Our beautiful mountain towns of North Carolina are competely devastated. A 1000-year storm has left hundreds of thousands of people without power, water, food and housing. Please help spread the word, and if possible, donate to help. This is not going to be fixed anytime soon. So much destruction. Here are some links if you are able to help in any way:
