Swans are often thought of as delicate, beautiful creatures that embody power and grace beyond imagine. While their delicate feathers symbolize beauty, they are a powerful ancient symbol of feminine strength. In 2015, Elizabeth started experimenting with French pastries and cooking as a personal challenge and fun new hobby to share with family and

friends. While she had always watched her mom and grandmother bake when she was a child, she had never really experimented with it herself. Little did she know simply making a batch of colorful macarons for an elementary school dance would open up a whole new baking world for her. As this endeavor grew, Elizabeth knew that she had to name this new business after something with meaning both literal and symbolic. So she was drawn to the people she looked up to the most, her mother whose name is Swan, and her grandmother and mother-in-law—all strong, swan- like women who, like the delicate pastries that Elizabeth makes, are beautiful inside and out. While the macarons are still her biggest draw, she also makes Brioche buns and loaves, Madeleines, and Cream Puffs. In addition to her delectable French pastries, Elizabeth also harkens back to her home in Indonesia and creates homemade Bolu Kukus (steam cake in chocolate and green tea), Kue Lapis Legit (Thousand Layer Cake), and Pineapple Tarts.

Indonesian Butter Cookies (Original, Double Chocolate, and Matcha). Our childhood favorite butter cookies and now they have become our children's favorite cookies. Our Butter cookies is mildly sweet and goes very well with coffee in the morning or afternoon tea time. Each cookie is unique because we piped each one by hand and then topped with chocolate chips.

It is very hard to find a commercial kitchen that meets our standards and requirements. We are grateful to find Creative Chef Kitchens that meets all our standards and requirements. Roti boy is a sweet bread with buttery filling and coffee topping. After lots and lots of experiments we are happy to introduce this new item to our customers. Meet Roti Boy! Our Roti Boy is made with brioche bread with a buttery filling in the center and topped with crusty coffee layer. It is a very popular bread in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore.

My next stop in my puff journey: Apple Pie Puffs! I have always loved making pastries because the process of making them is therapeutic and fun for me. And since apple picking season is here, the idea for my latest creation came to be. The savory, crunchy texture of the puffs contrasts perfectly with the warm, sweet flavor of the apple pie filling, and it will make your tummy happy!

Today I am making some curry puffs.
These are popular Southeast Asian street food.
I make the pastry from scratch and cook the filling with special curry sauce with corn and peas.
It still needs some works, but this taste amazing.

Elizabeth Hermawan (Owner/Founder) and Jeanny Stevens (Co-Owner)

Elizabeth and Jeanny are cousins and mothers who are self-taught bakers. Both of them fell in love with the art of baking. It all started from home, growing up in Indonesia watching their parents cook and bake to serve the family everyday has given them valuable knowledge of baking and cooking.

In 2015, Elizabeth started experimenting with French pastries and cooking as a personal challenge and fun new hobby to share with family and friends.
