💚🤍 Benny’s Bakery went to MICHIGAN STATE today! 💚🤍

What an incredible day for Benny and Benny’s Bakery! 🍪

A HUGE thank you to Dr. Sarah (or “Coach Sarah,” as Benny lovingly calls her!) for inviting Benny to speak with a class of future special education teachers preparing to graduate from MSU!

The course focuses on transition and the importance of collaboration between families, communities, and schools to support students as they prepare for life beyond K–12 education. What an incredible opportunity for Benny to share his story and show these future educators what is possible!

The students were AMAZING! So kind, thoughtful, engaged, and genuinely interested in Benny and his business. And, of course, we brought cookies for everyone to enjoy! 🍪❤️

When we started Benny’s Bakery, we never could have imagined all the doors it would open or the people it would bring into our lives. What began as a love for baking has grown into something so much bigger.

Benny’s Bakery has never been just about cookies. It’s about purpose, belonging, confidence, independence, and connection. It’s about showing others that everyone has gifts to share and that sometimes the most meaningful opportunities come when we see what someone CAN do rather than what they can’t.

Benny has a way of making an impact on the people who know him, and now, through his bakery, he continues to touch the lives of people he is just meeting. And the beautiful thing is that these experiences are changing Benny’s life, too. ❤️

Today, our circle grew a little bigger, and knowing that these future educators will carry a little piece of Benny’s story into their own classrooms someday means more than words can express.

We hope this is just the beginning of many opportunities to connect with future educators, share Benny’s story, and remind others of the incredible possibilities that exist when we believe in people and give them opportunities to shine.

Sometimes a gift means so much more than the gift itself. 💛

This weekend, Jim and Jody Blaine from JB Rooted LLC surprised Benny with the most beautiful custom-made Benny’s Bakery sign, and our family was genuinely touched.

When we started this little business, we hoped it would give Benny a way to build confidence, develop work-skills, find purpose, and connect with others. What we never expected was how many incredible people would become part of his story along the way.

Strangers have become friends. People continue to show up for Benny, encourage him, and remind him that what he is building matters. That has been the greatest gift of Benny’s Bakery. 🍪

We feel so blessed to stand with Benny and watch his little business continue to grow and touch lives.

Jim and Jody, thank you for seeing Benny, believing in him, and creating something so special for him. We will treasure it. ❤️

🍪WOW! THANK YOU, COOKIE FRIENDS!

What an AMAZING day! A huge thank you to all of our family, friends, and new friends who came out to support Benny and Benny’s Bakery yesterday! 💗

We SOLD OUT in under TWO HOURS and delivered 28 DOZEN cookies to our cookie-loving friends this weekend! 🍪🤯

A very special thank you to the Carriage House for welcoming Benny back and giving him such a wonderful place to share his cookies with our community. We are so grateful for the way you continue to support Benny and his little business! 💗

Our only regret? We didn’t take nearly enough pictures! We got busy, started visiting, and completely forgot to pause and capture Benny with so many of the people who came to see him. Whether we got a picture with you or not, please know how much it meant to Benny—and to all of us—that you were there. 🥰

🎃 And now…bring on October! Our fun themed cookie boxes are coming back, and we can’t wait to share what Benny has planned for some Halloween fun! 👻🕷️🍪
