Well friends, it is with the saddest, yet most optimistic and grateful, heart that I share the news with you. I’ve chosen to close Double Dough Cookies and hang up the cookie scoops.

As much as this decision has tugged at my heart strings for awhile, I know it’s time. For 3 years, this business has been my baby, my hustle, my escape, my creative outlet, and my joy. I believe life is full of seasons and Double Dough’s season served such a powerful purpose in mine and my family’s life. I’m so incredibly thankful for that! My new season involves being fully present for my family and for our new baby boy. Any extra time I have outside of my full-time job, (yes, I ran DDC all while also working a full-time job😅) I want to spend with my husband and son. We only get these precious years with him for so long.

I learned and explored so many things about myself along this journey of business ownership that I will take away into my personal life for years to come. It ain’t for the weak! It came with many late nights and sacrifices. I questioned my sanity on multiple occasions HAHA! I have a whole new respect for small businesses and will always continue to support the small businesses in my area. Your dollars mean the world to a small business and our local economies!

To all the amazing customers and vendors I’ve met along the way, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU for your support and love for Double Dough Cookies over the years! I’m filled with such joy knowing my cookies were a part of your special event or simply just a sweet treat to turn your day around. It’s been fun y’all!
