Due to better therapies, more than 80% of U.S. childhood cancer patients now become long-term survivors. However, with only 4% of the money spent on cancer research in the U.S. going to pediatric cancer, there is certainly room for more growth in this area. Much of the awareness for this month surrounds advocacy for more research funding. With more research, hopefully, more of our childhood cancer heroes will live long, healthy lives. We couldn't be more honored to house these superheroes all year long!
