It's been almost a year since I posted baked goods. For those of you who don't know, I lost my mom in June of 2015, had a nasty battle with pneumonia starting August of 2015 (still trying to get completely over it) and had open heart surgery in Aprill of this year! I haven't baked much at all in this time. I am starting to get the itch again to do so. What are some of your favorites you'd like to see, taste, smell this Fall??

I just wanted to post this. It's one of the latest trends. They call it a Naked Cake. Have you seen one? Do you like it's simplicity? I totally do and would love to make one for a wedding! Would you incorporate something like this into your celebrations or do you love the completely iced cakes instead??
