It occured to me that I haven't really done too many Valentine's day cookies. This time of year is the culmination of the winter sports season when the major competitions happen. My kids were all swimmers in school, so I spent my "free" time making LOTS of cookies for the team for their big events (and, of course, going to all of the events too).

While I am still knee deep in swimming cookies, I have lots more time for fun things, and I'm having a lot of fun making cute, punny Valentine's set. I could NOT resist these adorable otters.

I love seals (really anything that has to do with water), so I couldn't resist this set. This is displayed with three (3) regular cookies and one (1) mini cookie in a 12" x 5" box.

I have another version with four (4) regular cookies and at least the one (1) mini cookie for an 8" x 8" box, but before I could get the fourth cookie finished and photos taken, my son scooped up this set to give to his best girl. I don't blame him! 😂

How it all started

Hi! I’m Su. My technical day job is a lot of hard work, but at the end of the day, I don’t often have a lot to show for it. I love to cook and bake, and I am also quite artistic. After deciding to make some decorated cookies to celebrate one of my kid’s teams going to the state competition, I found making cookies fulfilled what is missing from my regular job. Cookies make me happy. Cookies make other people happy, and I love being able to help you make your special events just a little more sweet.
