Today I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself to those who are new here and to welcome you to this new chapter of Migajitas Dulces by Lola’s.

My name is Brenda Liz Gómez, the heart and hands behind this brand. I was born and raised in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, in the town of Gurabo. I am a wife, a proud mother of three wonderful children, a dog mom to Prada & Bella 🐾, and a passionate cake artist.

My love for baking began at a very young age beside my grandmother Lucy. Every time she baked, I was right there next to her, watching, helping, and learning. Many of the foundations of what I know today began in her kitchen. She taught me that baking is not only about recipes, but about patience, care, and love.

Over the years that passion grew into something deeper — a form of creative expression. Today, through Migajitas Dulces by Lola’s, my goal is to bring together tradition, timeless buttercream techniques, and elegant cake design.
This new chapter of the brand reflects growth, creativity, and a renewed vision: creating cakes that are not only delicious, but also pieces of edible art designed to be part of life’s most meaningful celebrations.
