It has been quite the trying week here in Texas. We are lucky to have such a neighborly state willing to help others in a time of need. Most everyone’s power and water has been restored around Houston, although a boil notice remains. I’m sure everyone’s first shower felt as great as this one looks. 😅

I have had the pleasure of working with a special client to create her perfect office space! is a food + fitness blogger that spends most of her time creating content in her office or baking yummy foods in the kitchen. I designed a seating area with this neutral color block wall that is perfect for drinking coffee, shooting videos, or catching up on emails.

Happy Friday! It’s cold ❄️ (almost freezing) and dreary here in Houston today. But dreary days just make me thankful for the positive lights in my life - like you! My clients and projects are so important to me. Seeing my clients face light up at the end of a project brings me joy. I am grateful and thankful for each of you - without you, I wouldn’t be able to do something I love day in and day out!

This modern living room was such a fun space to design as it was a blank slate in a just finished new build. When you have a blank space an easy way to bring it to life is to add layers. You can layer physically by overlapping items such as art and mirrors. You can also add dimension by layering with different textures. Mixing in organic pieces, such as greenery and stems, brings softness and texture to the space.

Say hello to my favorite design project to date, a master bath remodel. This client is in a lovely older bungalow in the Houston Heights. The master bath originally had a one sink vanity, tub, and small enclosed shower. The tub was removed, vanity extended, and shower opened up with frameless glass for a more spacious feel. I’m in love with all of the selections, but especially the custom built white oak vanity! 🤍
