I see this all the time when my clients sit in my chair.

On June 19, 1865, news of emancipation finally reached the last enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas—two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation. This day reminds us that freedom is not just a moment—it’s a journey, and we celebrate the strength, brilliance, and boldness of our ancestors who made that journey possible.
