Hey friends 💗

Just wanted to give a little update since so many of you have checked in on me lately.

As you know, I’ve already been away from baking for a while because of my hip issues. I had surgery 3 days ago, and recovery is going to be a longer road than I originally hoped. Right now, it’s looking like it’ll be at least another 6 months before I’m physically able to get back in the kitchen.

This has been really hard for me because baking isn’t just something I do — Dot’s Cakery is such a huge piece of my heart. But right now, I have to focus on healing and giving my body the time it needs.

I can’t even begin to thank you all enough for the love, patience, support, messages, and continued encouragement through all of this. It truly means more than you know.

This isn’t goodbye forever — just a pause a little longer than expected. 💗

I’ll keep you all updated along the way, and I fully plan on being back as soon as I’m physically able.

Hey friends 💗

This is a hard post to make, but I want to be honest with you all.

Due to some ongoing hip and back issues, I need to take a step back from baking for a little while so I can focus on healing and taking care of my health. As much as I love Dot’s Cakery (and all of you), my body is telling me to take a break until I get it all figured out.

This isn’t goodbye—just a pause.

I’m so incredibly grateful for every order, every share, every kind word, and every person who has supported my little business. It truly means more to me than you know.

I’ll keep you updated, and I fully plan on coming back as soon as I’m able. 💗
