Chocolate lovers, this one’s for you. 🤎

This macaron is inspired by the rich, decadent Southern classic and is packed with layers of chocolatey goodness. It features a silky milk chocolate ganache wrapped around a chocolate pudding and marshmallow center, all tucked between delicate macaron shells and finished with a chocolate drizzle.

It’s rich. It’s gooey. It’s everything you love about Mississippi Mud Pie… in macaron form.

As much as I hate to even make this post.. Unfortunately, your cookies won’t be ready until Tuesday afternoon. I ran into a packaging issue and accidentally ordered the wrong sized boxes. The correct ones will be arriving on Tuesday, and as soon as they do, I’ll have everything packaged up and ready to go!

The weather set me back on posting my flavor sneak peeks, but I’m so excited to finally share this week’s Classic Southern Desserts variety box!

This lineup is packed with Southern favorites:

Each macaron is filled with a homemade, from-scratch filling that’s made fresh and packed with flavor. These are some of my most delicious creations yet, and I can’t wait for y’all to try them! ❤️

As I finish each flavor, I’ll be posting photos throughout the evening, so bear with me!

After a lot of late nights, butter, sugar, and love, these boxes are finally finished and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out!

👑 King Cake – Vanilla bean and almond cream cheese buttercream, with a brown sugar, butter and cinnamon center dipped in white chocolate and decorated with classic Mardi Gras sugars.

☕ Café au Lait – Coffee flavored buttercream that tastes just like New Orleans’ famous coffee and milk with a home made caramel center.

🥜 Pralines & Cream – Rich brown sugar pecan filling inspired by the creamy, buttery pralines found throughout Louisiana.

🍌 Banana Foster – banana, cinnamon buttercream and a gooey homemade rum infused caramel center.
