Well y’all… I think it’s time I let the oven rest for a minute. 🥹💚

For the next little while, Bain Hollow Bakes is going to be taking a pause on preorders and regular bake days.

This isn’t goodbye! Not even close.

Life has gotten a little… busy lately, and I’ve been spending a whole lot of time working behind the scenes on something pretty dang exciting. Something that involves baking, good food, a whole lot of planning, and a dream that’s been quietly taking shape.

I’m not quite ready to spill all the beans yet. 🤫

But I am ready to tell y’all that Bain Hollow isn’t going anywhere.

In fact, there’s a pretty good chance you’ll be seeing my baking in a slightly different capacity before too long. 👀

So for now, I’m putting Clint Yeastwood on a short vacation, giving my oven (and my A/C 😂) a much-needed breather, and turning my attention toward this next adventure.

Thank you to every single person who has ordered a loaf, grabbed a bagel, loved on a cinnamon roll, told somebody about Bain Hollow, shared a post, or simply cheered me on from the sidelines.

What started as a little grief baking project has grown into something I never could have imagined when I first started.

And y’all…

I think this next chapter might be the best one yet. 💚

Stay tuned. I promise it’ll be worth the wait. 🫶

My brain has been runnin’ around like a chicken with its head cut off lately 😂 so we’re not gonna get fancy.

This week’s menu is SOURDOUGH BREAD. THAT’S IT.
Just good ol’ sourdough doing what sourdough does best. ❤️

Golden crust. Chewy crumb. Plenty of that tangy goodness.
