I’m offering a $100 gift certificate for my services to one person at random to participate in the movement. Only thing you have to do is not buy anything for one day— that day is tomorrow. Do not shop anywhere, spend no money. If you end up needing something last minute, post it here. Someone will have it. If you want change, you have to be the change. If you are not politically aligned with me, it’s because no one is politically aligned with me. I’m not picking sides. I’m choosing love. I’m picking kindness.

EDIT TO ADD: I’m aware that many people will be filling prescriptions and will not be using that as an outlier. I know it’s the first of the month. I know many rely on disability. I am not doing this to exclude ANYONE. That is why I am offering to help if an emergent need comes up. We’ve forgotten that we are a community. We have neighbors. We have to get back to helping each other.
