Wednesdays are the days we prep for Thursday opening.

We’re in the bakery early mixing dough, shaping sourdough, rolling cinnamon rolls, baking cookies, and getting the shelves ready to be filled again. It’s not the loudest day in the bakery, but it’s the day where most of the work happens.

By the time Thursday morning comes around, everything you see in the case started here first. Honestly, it’s one of our favorite days to be in the bakery.

We’ll be out at 808 Craft and Gift Fairs at Koko Marina Center tomorrow from 10am to 2:30pm.

We’re bringing sourdough, sweets, and a few favorites from the bakery. Tomorrow’s sourdough lineup will be Sundried Tomato, Cheddar, Classic, and Chocolate Macadamia Nut.

Pop-ups are always a little busy, a little warm, and a good excuse to spend the morning outside with good food and familiar faces.

Made in Babes: Tiramisu Series 🤎

This one has been fun to make around the bakery. Layers of espresso soaked cake, cream, cocoa, and a lot of Angela making sure everything tastes the way it should before it makes it to the case.

It’s become one of those things where someone grabs a slice, takes a bite, and immediately turns around to ask if there’s more.

If you’ve been watching the series, this is your sign to finally come try it. You can grab a slice in the bakery or preorder a whole tray if you’ve got people to share with… or not.

Our doesn’t just taste good because of Angela… though that definitely helps.

It’s also because we’re able to make it with high quality and local ingredients from our community. Out of everything in the bakery, this might be the product that brings together the most local products in one dessert, and that means a lot to us.

Being able to make something for our community while supporting the people around us is always the goal.

We’re back with another Made in Babes ✨
This time, tiramisu with Angela.

Layers of espresso soaked cake, cream, and a lot of careful assembly happening in the bakery this week. It’s one of those things that looks simple once it’s finished, but there’s a lot going on before it gets there.
