What might seem like just another loaf to someone else represents days of fermentation, early mornings, a whole lot of patience, and the hands of the people who make it all happen.
To everyone who has brought a Babes loaf home, shared it around the table, or made us part of their weekly routine, thank you for loving bread as much as we do.

Hawaiʻi Kai, we’re coming your way this weekend!

We’re packing up some of our favorite breads and sweets and heading over to Koko Marina for the 808 Craft & Gift Fair. If you’ve been meaning to try Babes but haven’t made your way over to Kaimukī, we’re bringing a little piece of our neighborhood bakery closer to you.

Come spend part of your Saturday supporting local makers, discovering small businesses, and picking up something freshly baked to bring home. We’d love to meet some new faces and catch up with our regulars!

We’ve been thinking about something, and we want to hear from you 👀

What if your favorite Babes sourdough came in a smaller size?
We know not everyone needs a full loaf every week. Maybe you’re baking for one, trying a new flavor, or just want a little something to enjoy with dinner. Whatever the reason, we’re curious if a smaller loaf would make its way into your weekly routine.

A little sweet, a little savory, and a whole lot happening at Babes this week 🤎

We’ve got some familiar favorites, a few seasonal treats, and another opportunity to catch us outside the bakery! Here’s what’s happening in our little corner of Kaimukī this week.

Our Jalapeño & Gouda Sourdough is this week’s flavor, available through Monday. If you’re in the mood for something sweet, we’re bringing a little Halloween fun with our decorated sugar cookies, Pumpkin Spice Tiramisu, and Pumpkin Crunch.

And for our friends on the Hawaiʻi Kai side, we’ll be popping up at the 808 Craft & Gift Fair at Koko Marina this Saturday, October 17, from 10AM–2:30PM!

Whether you’re coming in for your weekly loaf, picking up something sweet, or stopping by our pop-up, we’d love to see you. Come early for your favorites because everything is available while supplies last!

A little bit of everything happening at Babes this week 🤎

From fresh sourdough coming out of the oven to seasonal sweets and a few familiar favorites, there’s always something happening in our little corner of Kaimukī.

This week’s lineup includes our Kim Chee Sourdough, available through Monday, our Pumpkin Spice Tiramisu for a little taste of fall, and another opportunity to catch us out in the community at the ABL Farmers Market!

Whether you’re stopping in for your weekly loaf, looking for something sweet, or just curious about what’s new, we’d love to see you. And if you haven’t visited us yet, there’s no better time to get to know your neighborhood bakery.

Today, we give the cinnamon roll the attention it deserves 🤎

It looks simple. Cinnamon, sugar, soft layers, a little vanilla cream cheese frosting. But if you’ve had a Babes Cinnamon Roll, you already know there’s a lot more going on here.

Ours starts with sourdough, giving it that soft, chewy texture and depth of flavor that makes it a little different from the cinnamon roll you might be used to. It’s simple, it’s comforting, and somehow it’s so much more than the sum of its parts.

If you’ve had one, you know exactly what we’re talking about. And if you haven’t… National Cinnamon Roll Day feels like a pretty good reason to change that.

Tell your friends. Tell your family. Tell the person who takes cinnamon rolls very seriously. Then come grab one and make the same face we’re making in these photos 😂

Still feeling all the love from Mom-Made Market 🤍 "The Mom Made Market™" Hawaii

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, picked up a loaf (or two), grabbed something sweet, told a friend about us, or simply came over to say hi. Seeing so many of you enjoy what we make is exactly why we love getting out into the community.

To everyone who tried Babes for the first time this weekend, welcome to the family. And to our returning customers who continue to show up for us, thank you for choosing our little neighborhood bakery again and again.

We already can’t wait for the next one. Until then, you know where to find us. Come visit the bakery in Kaimukī for fresh sourdough, sweets, breakfast, lunch, and whatever else we’re baking up that day.
