The All American Goats

This past weekend was the first time we introduced many of you to our herd. Thank you to everyone who came out, spent time with our goats, showed them love, and supported our little farm. Seeing so many of you stop by and enjoy them as much as we do made all the work that went into making this happen so worth it!

One thing that genuinely surprised me was how many adults came to meet the goats compared to children — and I absolutely loved that. It was such a good reminder that you don’t have to be a kid to enjoy the simple things in life.

Agriculture is such an important part of our lives, yet it’s something that feels increasingly distant from so many people. Fewer people have the opportunity to experience farm life firsthand, interact with farm animals, or learn where their food comes from. That’s one of the reasons we’re so passionate about what we’re building here at All American Acres.

Being able to answer your questions, share a little knowledge about our goats, and watch people genuinely take an interest in these animals was so refreshing. Whether you came with your little ones, your spouse, your friends, or simply because you wanted to spend some time with the goats, you are always welcome here. You don’t have to grow up on a farm to appreciate agriculture, and you certainly don’t have to be a child to enjoy a visit with some sweet goats!

Our hope has always been to create more than just a farm stand. We want to create a place where people can connect with agriculture, learn something new, support local, and enjoy the little things that make life special and the Market is proving to be exactly that.

Thank you for helping us bring that vision to life. Thank you for supporting our family, our farm, and these sweet little animals. And thank you for reminding us that there are still so many people who care about agriculture and want to be a part of it.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this is still just the beginning besties, I have so much more planned for you. Stay tuned. 🥰

This fireplace doesn’t just give off cozy vibes… it gives off HEAT! 🔥 And with tomorrow’s chilly temperatures, especially in the morning, we’ve got the perfect excuse to bundle up and head down to the Market!

Tomorrow is FULL RESTOCK DAY AND the official opening day of Meet the Goats! 🐐

We’ll have little cups of grain available for purchase so you can spoil our goats with some snacks while enjoying their company!

The move is officially complete—and I think it went as smoothly as it probably could have 🥴🙃 Was it chaos? Absolutely. Did they make us work for it? Yes. Did everyone make it safely across the street? Big yes! Did they escape? Also yes, but only once. And if you saw the insanity that the great escape was, no you didn’t. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Again, please do not approach the gates or fence until Saturday—they need a little time to decompress and familiarize themselves with their new surroundings.

Sourdough Pancake Mixes are back in three flavors! They are conveniently located right below the Maple Syrup!

Did You Know:
🍁 The Maple Syrup we carry is made right here in Clarendon by a wonderful family heavily involved in local agriculture and 4H! The farm is called Once Upon a Farm and I am so very proud to say this is our second full season of carrying their product and I hope for many more years of their success! (They are also were the very FIRST vendor I partnered with when the little farm stand opened last year!)

There’s nothing more local than Maple Syrup from right here, just a couple roads over, so grab a jar the next time you’re in!

The time has come, besties! 🐐🍂

We have a little change to our restock schedule this week! Our restock will be delayed until Saturday morning as we get everything ready for something we’ve been so excited to share with you — the goats are moving to the Market! ❤️

Over the next day or so, our goats will be transitioning into the small pasture behind the Market, where you’ll soon be able to visit and interact with them. For their safety and to allow them time to settle in, please do not approach the fence until Saturday morning.

Starting Saturday, you’ll be able to purchase small cups of grain to feed them! We ask that everyone follow these rules to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for both our visitors and our goats.
