Hey besties!

I’m sure you’ve noticed that the stand has been closed all week - and that will continue today. We have been out of town enjoying the sun, sand & surf of the OBX. But don’t worry, I’ll be open tomorrow by 8am with some of your favorites along with some new items you’ve never seen before; I promise it’ll be worth it!

Yesterday was a washout — but no worries because I honestly needed the break to slow down and spend some time with my family — that means sourdough bread is just over 24 hours old and on sale today. Stop down and grab one, there’s only about 5 loaves left. Prices are marked on the loaves.

REFRESH YOUR LOAF BY:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°
2. Spritz your loaf with water
3. Pop in the oven for 10+ minutes

Okay 3 things…

1. The 💥 brand new 💥 FARM STAND Blend from Pitt’s Spices will be available very shortly at my farm stand — because how freakin’ fitting, right?! Also!

2. We will be using Pitt’s Spices Old World Blend in our sourdough bread to bring the bold, sun-drenched flavors of Sicily to your tastebuds in a new kind of way! Look out for this flavor in June!

3. This is the exciting one: together with Kayla, Lisa and their amazing chefs, we have teamed up to create an “All American” blend!!! 🤯 We’re currently working on perfecting the flavor but we’re on the right track. Look for this one in June as well!

Massive shout out to the entire Pitt’s team! You guys have been so easy to work with — your professionalism is unmatched and we’re so happy to team up with another local, family owned business!

Last weekend was a lot of fun and I was very far removed from my beloved Ida (my starter) so she was pretty well neglected. Miss Ida didn’t want to cooperate for dough day today so I had a little chat with her, gave her some words of encouragement and she snapped right back, ready to work!

With that being said, bread will be restocked Saturday & Sunday morning this week (and possibly some Friday afternoon if all goes well; I’ll make a post if I’m able to put some out there). All other baked goods will be at the stand Friday as normal!

I’ll also be working to restock some Sourdough Starter for the stand as well - some of you have had great success with it!
