I’ve always said, “everything happens for a reason.” When I was diagnosed with Celiac 7 years ago, I quickly realized that baking gluten free was not the same as “regular” baking… in fact I actually stopped baking for a while…. And I’d be lying if I told you I didn’t go through a depression period because I missed the foods I love the most… but God had plans for me, plans I couldn’t have accomplished without Him or celiac disease. My passion isn’t baking, although I do love it, my passion is helping people. It’s texts and comments like these, that make me feel like I’m making a difference. It’s not just about making desserts or the money, it’s about giving those with food restrictions a sense of normalcy again. It’s about bringing joy and happiness to someone’s day. I give God all the glory, this was ALL Him!
