Ah the cupcake, we love you so!
Tiny dessert, wrapped to go
All in a ruffled paper flute
Swirled with frosting, filled with fruit,
Fits so well in the palm of my hand
Topped with sprinkles or cookie crumb “sand”
The very first bite is so exciting.
Its mere appearance is so inviting!
I sink my teeth in the creamy topping,
Devouring it all; there is no stopping!
And all that is left, the paper remains,

Someone told me that WALMART is making wedding cakes..... something about that just doesn't sit well. Fishing lures, power steering fluid, pet de-worm meds, canned ham, flip flops, underwear, camp stoves and wedding cakes..... hmmmmmmm.

Happy Birthday, Creative Bakery! Creative Bakery is one year old! Our grand opening was August 28th, 2010 so we now officially have one year under our belts..... Lots of lessons learned! There's a bottle of champagne chilling in the fridge; we're saving it for a little celebration sometime in the near future, perhaps to share with the folks who've supported us! We love you!

June has been incredibly busy with special orders on weekends. We want to thank our loyal customers for being patient with us as we try to figure out the best schedule for our lobby during this busy season of sports banquets, weddings, graduations, etc.

The upcoming weekend is fully booked and we're SO busy, we'll have to close early on Friday the 27th and remain closed Saturday the 28th! Lots of weddings and showers and birthdays!

A customer stopped in and gave me a birthday card today with an old family recipe inside for Molasses Cookies - so we mixed up a batch and we just pulled them out of the oven. The bakery is full of the aroma of cinnamon and ginger right now. Can't wait to try a warm cookie with a nice cold glass of milk!

General information

We're a bakery specializing in unique and original designs. We offer traditional baked goods at our store including danish, muffins, scones, cupcakes, cookies, breads, pies and brownies. Weekends are spent working on our specialty items including 3D cakes, weddings, baptisms, graduations, etc. Everything is baked on site fresh each day; anything left over is donated to the local food shelf. Call ahead for information on what's available that day or to place an order.
